Why is there someone doing water exercises during swim practice?

Patrick Chan (pictured with coach Kelsy and Erin) is in Colorado Springs getting ready for the 2010 Winter Olympics in February. 

Patrick is the Canadian national champion, the silver medalist at the 2008 World Championships, and is among the favorites to medal next month in men's figure skating in Vancouver.
